I agree with kindness. I was that way with my husband and would begin and cry for him not to go to work. He had to work and was responsible and left. I did get over it in time. Actually I think it was when I started to do things on my own. I would write down a schedule the day before. Usually home unless I had an appointment. Some samples of list is. Clean a room, read for an hour, make a phone call, watch a favorite show, exercise, go out in the yard and do a little work, get the mail, take a hot bath, paint finger nail and maybe toes.
