ab1018, I'm so sorry you had to experience this. I hope you will report this therapist's behavior to the head of the clinic. This sort of thing shouldn't be kept secret so that steps can be taken to prevent her from providing damaging therapy to other clients. Sometimes it takes a long paper trail to get rid of these people. I hope you will add to her trail.
So that you don't run the risk of further encounters with this therapist, can you seek a therapist from outside of this practice? Is it essential that your therapist and pdoc be part of the same practice? Does ;your insurance cover any therapists outside of this practice? It seems like your T and your pdoc could communicate with each other about your treatment, if need be, without being in the same practice. Good luck. ((((hugs))))
