Interesting to read an interesting post. Feel it's true there's so much spirituality intertwined in the daily life of an Irishman. From leisure/work; even politics. I was born in Cork, lived in Dublin & get back often. We're now (technically) in UK but live right on the Scottish border. That Celtic influence is all around. 2016 is a pivotal part in any Irish Republican's heart. As we examine/commemorate each aspect of the 1916 Easter Rising we realise just how much our lives are entrenched/guided by the spiritualism/beliefs of our Fathers, etc. I truly feel you're following a good road where you simply "sit amongst the shamrocks".
