I think the point of drawing or painting is to express yourself creatively in a non-verbal mode, to get in contact with your feelings, to have a little fun with it and try something different. More like a game, not so much about impressing anybody with your skills or producing art you can sell or hang on your wall or whatever. So I'd say try it and don't worry about whether your picture is good or not.
