I don't punch a clock or anything but my boss oversees several teams and individual employees. He encourages me to take my lunches but when I'm gone for any real period of time I generally end upon answering texts and emails on my cell, so I'm never truly gone to lunch. For session I will need to really be away and since our company is very hierarchical, my boss' reports won't be able to reach him, as they have to go through his coordinator, me. So my concern is that I'll need a good excuse weekly to prevent them from contacting me while I'm away.
