the only situation where alters are pregnant in the USA and not called delusions, hallucinations, psychosis, schizophrenia is when for example a person is assaulted and no birth control was used. this results in the physical body becoming pregnant. if during the assault the victim dissociated and an alter took control the resulting alter considers that pregnancy theirs. but they know the father of the baby is the abusers.
short version the diagnostics for having DID state reality testing remains intact. that means everyone body born and alters knows whats real and what isnt. they dont believe in things that cant possibly be real\ is impossible. they stay in reality mind and body.
example its physically impossible for two alters to impregnate each other because they reside with in the same physical body (a male or female physical body) it takes both male and female reproductive tissue to create a baby therefore this would knock out DID because of the diagnostic criteria here in the USA.
for some reason this alter seems to be out of touch with reality.
some suggestions to look into....
whether or not an assault happened when she was in control of the body.
medication check.....maybe side effects might be causing her reality to not be intact.
