This makes me sound a little like I am enjoying your discomfort, Sabrina (please don't misunderstand), but I have been reading this thread with interest.
I am sorry that it's uncomfortable for you. I remember using a spray bottle of water on myself to get the evaporation effect when I had my fans on. And putting a bad of ice in front of the portable fan in hopes of falling asleep.

I am not a fan of harsh winters and it gets warm here, but we have air conditioning so I'm grateful for that.

Somewhere in the world must be a place where the weather is perfect and there are no bugs...
