Melanie, i experienced this with my spouse confronting a shrink who altered her meds. We showed him the ER report that he was responsible and he attacked her than me. He would not take ownership. He said she was a liar for the last 7 years and didn't believe anything she said. He totally negated me. After leaving she suffered another stroke, a mini one.

For myself i attended my apt which was given away on me. My shrink called myself and the other client in the hallway and wanted to know if we were willing to share the hour long apt. I said no, then she asked if i were willing to go first and she was already booked half hr running behind. I said no. then she asked if i wanted to reschedule and i said no. I got no diagnosis, no feedback and nothing squared away about the medicines she wanted me to take. So don't feel bad, I have had bad experiences with them. Always find a new one. Don't feel bad if they don't work for you, after all that is what this is all about. tc
