Well said. All alters in all systems don't seem to have an idea about how they look, but it seems like many alters actually have this idea, that they are a different gender, maybe even different hair color, and different age would show for sure. If all alters could accept the body that would mean they have no inner pictures of what they look like. And in many cases, the don't accept the body.

I don't see the point of splitting down someones issues in smaller and smaller part and saying Oh this is anxiety this is DID this is a flashback this is a "delusion". That means the person looking at the person with DID or looking at any person with different issues, will not see the other person as a whole. That person will see the person as pieces of diagnoses and not as a person. I don't know if there is a term for not being able to see another person and accept them as a person or a system, but rather go so deep into detail thinking that this person or system is just 7-10 soulless diagnoses.
