This is what abusers do......they are irrational; if you were really "stupid" , etc....why is he with you??!! Don't respond to his abuse, except simply t say yo will NOT be disrespected and then REMOVE yourself; walk away or hang up the phone. You wouldn't let anyone throw rocks at you, that is what is doing verbally
