we can not make a diagnosis of what may be happening with in you so my suggestion is if this continues to bother you talk with your treatment providers. if you are here in the USA you can ask for diagnostic evaluations to find out what your mental disorders, physical health and learning problems are, by undergoing these tests you will find out if this reverting to childhood for you is normal, medical or mental problem in you.
something in your post jumped out at me...your statement that you dont really have a real personality.... with DID and OSDD a person knows they have a personality... they know things like when they feel numb, spaced out, they know when they hear voices, they know whether their non dissociated self is kind, quiet, considerate, trustworthy, funny, happy, sad, lacking emotions.. these things are all things that here in america is a personality for even non mental disordered people...
my suggestion is read your past posts. i bet you will find many descriptive words about what your personality is like...
for example in one post you invited others to talk with you thats called being compassionate and considerate and helpfut of others. thats your personality in the normal sense of the word.
another example you use the phrase you have a sense of what another poster was going through. thats being intuitive and that describes your personality in the normal sense of the word.
when I am at a loss for what my personality is like I come on here and read my past posts. they contain words that describe what my personality is like.
now in the DID\OSDD sense of the word personality there is a huge difference. its not about reverting to childhood. you can read in my link at the bottom of my post what an alternate personality is but in general dissociative type alters have their own way of being, their own jobs purposes, reasons for being that affects every aspect of a persons life.
something else that jumped out at me in your post....you described your self as....
it was flat with no distinct features, nervous and I was unable to express myself. Never mind the fact that I felt that I would mindlessly do anything someone said or suggested.
in ....my location.... this isnt called dissociation this is called catatonic... it happens with medications that are not the right dosage, and mental disorders like schizophrenia.
another suggestion if you are on medications check with your treatment providers maybe the solution is just a change in dosage or kind of meds you are on.
maybe even print off your post and give it to your treatment providers so that they can see you want to address this issue. there may be a reason why they did not diagnose this reverting to childhood as being an alternate personality...such as it may not fit the new diagnostics for being a dissociative type. if so they can tell you what this reverting to childhood is for you.

I understand what your saying... And I understand that you can not make a diagnoses on what we are just saying here but we come here to express what's going on in heads in hopes that someone who's going through the same thing will come and relates to us.
Mental orders are not just black or white. Really, what I'm saying is that I have schizo like symptoms but it may not be just the hallucinations but other things associated with it, you all don't know the whole story. And truly, schizophrenia does effect personalities. You can become DID from the trauma you have with schizophrenia (example being batter by the ocd thoughts you have in your head or instigating-bully voices like I do). Really, I feel jumped on for not having the "correct" symptoms of DID. And when you really look at it, not many have the "correct" symptoms of DID.
Just to let you know, when I look at my post, I see the other personalities who wrote it. Each of them having there own writing style. And it really shows. Most of the time, I am not me "me" when I'm writing. Matter of fact the real "me" can't write do to problems with concentrating and expressing herself. It takes a personality gifted with words to do it, like now.
And Shaly is right, you guys need to educate yourself on schizophrenia, it's not just the stereotypical stuff it's a lot more too it. I see a lot of people write on here there problems but unless you have the "correct" terms you don't get listened to or blown off. Not every case of DID is the same...
