maybe just love him. I think sometimes people get afraid of others who question their faith... but maybe be afraid of this part of him... talk openly if he likes to or just accept him if you can. As someone who is going through that very thing.. I'm suprised at how many people who were close to me before.. now feel like they can't relate. Perhaps it has changed me, but maybe that new part of me is still likeable.
