I don't know. I'm guessing a couple weeks but it depends how I handle the Seroquel rapid taper and then getting on the Clozaril. I don't know how much they'll overlap the 2; they couldn't outpatient but IP they are more able to do so. It also depends on the doctor; I haven't seen this one rush his patients out the door in the past. So I'm really not sure. Since I"m going in on a Thursday I imagine it will be at least until a week from the upcoming Monday or later that week. But I have no real idea. Usually I try to find out all this ahead of time and this time I haven't been overly curious about a lot of it. My pdoc says removing the Seroquel will make it so that anything the Seroquel has covered may come out. I haven't been off heavy sedatives in 14 years so have no idea what that means except paranoia, anger, really rapid cycling, agitation, all kinds of good stuff. The more of that stuff the longer I'll be there. My therapist seems to think 2 weeks minimum, maybe longer just because this is such a big change. But he's guessing; he hasn't seen someone do this.
