Not really. I know it will be hard and I'm a little afraid of what it will be like without being sedated to my teeth but mostly I am just so ready to be done with this and hopefully feel better soon.

I know your zyprexa taper is scary but honestly med tapers usually aren't that terrible. When I tapered completely off my AD that was bad (I was changing to an MAOI so had to stop the old one first). I came off a huge dose of Depakote with a taper and never felt a thing except relief that I was getting rid of the stuff. I've tapered off or come off lithium rapidly without problems, etc.

I'm not sure they'll give cogentin until you display symptoms because if you are taking it immediately they won't know what is going on "under" the drug. Because of my history of movement disorders I did get a script for cogentin when I started loxapine (old med) this summer. It didn't occur to me that I was having muscle rigidity until about a day before I saw my pdoc so I didn't use the script until she told me to but at least I had it if I'd realized why I was in pain sooner. (I had a bunch of plausible reasons until I finally realized that wasn't the issue, that I was hurting in places my explanation didn't address and when I took a PRN klonopin it stopped hurting. Then I said "OH!").
