Congratulations!

I had four. I echo what everybody else has said. I will add...

Don't expect to live the same way...in other words, a baby changes things (obvious, I know...) You must adapt to her or him and not expect the baby adapt to you. Be flexible. If you are not, you will become frustrated with this little human very quickly.

Make things as easy on yourself as you can as far as the rest of your life goes. Pack those things away that don't really serve a purpose. Organize and streamline things and routines as much as you can now.

Take your spare change and forgo something you don't need (like your daily stop at Starbucks) and start a college fund.

Don't set a precedent as far as being the only one to do the daily care. Have the father do as much as you do from the very beginning and as a matter of course.

Enjoy your sleep now. You will not sleep the same way until he/she becomes an adult
