I usually react the opposite of how I'm supposed to which made my gabapentin experience even more funny. I was pretty much completely out of it the whole time I had to be on a higher dose (I had a very bad akathesia after having surgery and wound up IP and that's what they used but I had to stay on it for some time, the entirety of which I was loopy). Fortunately everyone had a sense of humor about my loopiness. Maybe you'll get lucky with it. I've been on med combos that made my family dr say that he'd never seen anyone on so much of one med that was OP and awake and then he got to the 2nd high dose of sedating med and just laughed. So maybe it will make you sleepy too .
