I don't know about the personality disorder. Like your doctor we'd have to have more information. One thing I do recognize however is catasrophic thinking. This is connected more to your anxiety I think. I'm not professional. But, I believe you can manage this, with a little work of course. Have you considered a Personality Disorder workbook? Those I have seen have excellent descriptions of the various classifications of the disorders too. One of the therapies for a personality disorder is to practise Mindfullness. I think learning to do this will also make you more aware of the issues you experience, and thus lead to an improved ability to manage it.
