It's turned into a decent neighborliness.
Sorry to read that after five years it leaves you feeling forced to flee your home.

Thank you. It all started with their loud music. It went on for 5 years, everyday they were home which is the vast majority of the time. I've complained to the landlord hundreds of times. But it all got incredibly scary on January 3 (first Saturday night after new years).
I've also had the galloping stampeding sound from upstairs and door slamming from downstairs. That didn't really bother me. It was the music because the bass was almost a solid presence surrounding me. I couldn't listen to my own music or watch TV or anything. Even with headphones it was there, driving me crazy. So I guess finally the landlord told them no more music (I'm guessing because I don't know) because suddenly their music was not playing anymore. And that's when this whole abusive thing started. I just keep hoping it will run out of steam a little more each day.
