If you look in my sig you can see the meds I'm on. Recently throughout my work day I'm literally nodding out like a druggie and it's embarrassing and quite irritating to go all day like that. Especially when I work up to 10hrs a day! Now let me clarify some things. Because Vyvanse won't effect me two days in a row I can only take it once in awhile. I love those days! Last night I tried to drop the seroquel because after work I'm already exhausted. So I'm going to try to skip it on work days. However I was still tired today after ALOT of coffee and one energy drink. In the AM I take 600mg of trileptal which is a recent increase, and 15mg of buspar. And no it's not my thyroid, I've had that checked. I still take 50mcg of thyroid meds for a boost though but it's obviously not working.
Working as a docs assistant, when patients are always tired we ask about their quality of sleep and send them for a sleep study. But I have state insurance that probably won't cover that. I do admit I wake up every few hours (even on seroquel) from a bad dream and smoke a half of a cigarette. (I know that's so bad). I do this probably 3 times a night. I've tried my ativan and trazadone but still always wake up.
Question is, is it my morning meds or my bad sleep making me tired throughout the day? I wonder if I can take both doses of trileptal at night instead? I'm going to start taking my full 45mg of buspar at night for now on to see if that helps. I'm down to trial and error here!
Trileptal 600mg BID
Buspar 45mg
Seroquel 150-300mg for sleep
Ativan 1mg PRN
Vyvanse 70mg
Risperdal 4-6mg PRN
