I have been on citalopram 20mg for almost 6 yrs with Bupropion 300. I know SSRIs don't last me a long time (2-3 yrs at the most), but I have been relatively okay on this one for almost 6 yrs. For the last 6 mos or so I have felt myself sinking and now and I start crying randomly and can't stop. It's affecting my job performance. I am clearly depressed at home and my children are most likely affected. I think it's time for a new med.

I have been on on many different medications over the years (by years I mean decades) and can't even think of another drug that I could try. I have suffered from depression all of my life and medications lift me out of a hole for a period of time, but I always have my legs dangling in the hole. I have never been free or wandered far from that hole. Right now I am about neck deep again.

Can anyone suggest good meds for depression so I might make a suggestion to my doc before I am tried on 1000 diff medications to find the right one?
