Met with my therapist tonight. Sometimes he is efficient, and sometimes REALLY NOT. I hate paying for time when the person helping me is as slow as "heck," having nothing helpful to say, but long-winded obvious unhelpful statements and maybe a tiny bit of helpful advice every 20 minutes. How can one assertively and respectfully ask another to hurry up, or to just to say so if they don't have an answer, rather than rambling on and on?

Also, if a therapist gives terrible advice, how can one assertively and respectfully say that the advice is awful without giving some long statement?
