As far as the trileptal, I'm assuming it's OK since that's what I do. But pdocs that I've seen recently think it's odd. My last pdoc before PHP also thought it was weird. But since I've been doing it that way for so long because the pdoc who put me on it started it in that manner it stays that way. I think it depends on who prescribes it. But it's a lot to take at once, so I am really tired the next day. I would drink tons of sodas and energy drinks (I don't like coffee) some days to function.
I would talk about what time of day to take your meds with your pdoc because each one have different effects. I used to take effexor at night, but recently switched it to morning because a new doctor said it's activating enough to help with the sleepiness in the morning. I had no idea, I had been taking at night for at least a year!
