InACorner, that is wonderful news! I used to work for an ambulance service and transported many patients betweeen hospitals and nursing homes. I remember one young woman (in her 40s). I believe it was some sort of auto accident that made her unable to speak or walk. She was also dealing with an infection in her lungs, so I had to wear a mask and gown while caring for her. We took her from the hospital back to her nursing home. I remember meeting her husband who has stood by her though all this. What a wonderful human being. So many would just say 'heck with it!'
