Cello is my mainstay and truly adore playing it. I started in high school (on my own, not something through the school) because it was always my favorite instrument. I played through college and would do gigs around the city with my friend on the acoustic guitar and a smattering of different friends that would contribute to songs. I couldn't afford lessons after some time (college in circa 2008-2009 was rough, as it was rough for most Americans in some way). But, I've recently taken it back up with lessons.

I can also play the trumpet well.

I'm able to play the violin, mostly because of my cello lessons, but by ear only.. I don't read music for it or practice it, I love picking it up and just making little tunes for awhile. Played guitar when I was very young. Also teaching myself some piano.
