just a thought here ...your profile doesnt say where you are located. if you are located in the USA we do not have a mental disorder called CPTSD. short version back in 2013 that diagnostic label was thrown out \discontinued and everything it was, is now contained with in other mental disorders here in america.

though it doesnt exist here in america any more, its included in online websites and the forums you find on line like here at psych central most likely because other countries outside the USA still have a mental disorder called CPTSD.

so this may be why your treatment provider is refusing to diagnose you with CPTSD, she cant diagnose you with something that doesnt exist now if you are here in the USA.

another thought is that maybe according to the new diagnostic standards your problems now are included or fit in with what she is diagnosing you as....short version one of the mental disorder diagnostics for most if not all mental disorders here in america now include the criteria that the problem isnt better explained by another mental disorder. America is moving away from the multi axial (multiple diagnosis's) way. they now have to look at the persons problems and decide which mental disorder ......better explains.....that persons problems as a whole. it may be that your combined set of problems better fits in with what she is diagnosing you as.

you are not alone in being confused and a bit upset by the way america now diagnoses mental disorders and may feel what you are diagnosed with doesnt fit just right. many people are getting their many different diagnosis's changed to one cover all diagnosis. and it can confuse a person.

my suggestion is to breath and wait out the process, if what you are seeing as PTSD warrants having two different labels it will happen. it just takes time.

another suggestion since you dont agree with the present diagnosis you can ask for a psychiatric evaluation for diagnostic purposes. this is a whole battery of tests that will tell you what your diagnosis is according to the new diagnostic criteria being used now here in america.
