So... here's my news... I'm 4 weeks pregnant!

I'm really kind of shocked - I was absolutely sure that I was getting my period. I never get PMS moodiness, but I do start cramping a week or so before my period arrives. Last month was no exception. In fact, I was really tempted to cancel my Dr's appointment for the blood test because I figured it would be a waste of time and money. Wrong I was! Not only that, but my hormone levels during both blood tests were sky-high. There might be more than one - I had an ultrasound a few days before my ovulation date, and there were between 3-5 follicles ready to drop an egg. So that might be a weird situation. I'm not really thinking about that just yet, although I keep finding myself mentally referring to my "babies" in the plural, so I don't know what that means.

I have my first prenatal ultrasound in two weeks. We might even be able to hear a heartbeat then. In the meantime, I'm fluctuating between bliss vs obsession about reading everything there is to know about pregnancy.
