I am diagnosed with major depressive disorder, bpd, and anxiety. My depression has been going on for many years and I have bouts of moderate to severe depression in which I often end up hospitalized. My depression has been treatment resistance and I've gone through a number of meds. I currently take meds and go to therapy.

I feel I am going back into another depression episode. I am so tired of feeling this way and was wondering if anyone out there has similar recurrent depression and advice on how they handle it?

I feel like giving up on therapy and blame myself for not making progress and continually falling back into negative patterns of thinking. I just can't seem to change my of thinking. I've taken DBT but find it extremely hard to use the techniques in real life--does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,
