The reason for the exact placement of a particular forum under a specific category is always going to boil down to a judgment call made by myself, the community's host. The decisions were made more than a decade ago, so I'm not even sure I could revisit the reasoning behind such placements with any degree of surety of memory.

But here goes anyway so you have something of an answer...

Coffeehouse is a component of general social chat, which has always been an important part of our community. General social chat was spun off of "Other Mental Health Discussion," hence the reason it appears near it.

Sanity Score is a mental health screening tool we developed, so yes, it makes sense to be nearer the top so folks can discuss their scores and interpretation.

Spirituality is an important component of many people's recovery.

I wouldn't get caught up in a particular label. I could have just as easily labeled "Distractions" "More General Stuff." It's not meant as a judgment call.

There are no "right" answers here, sorry, it's just the way it is.
