I used to get so mad at my pdoc......giving one drug to counteract the side effect of another......I just refused to take the one that caused the side effect in the first place.....but my depression was situational.

I got out of the situation I was in & wow, the depression went away. I still deal with the PTSD but only once in awhile now that it's been 10 years since the trauma. Leaving didn't change the trauma but being in a whole different environment has helped me in so many ways being surrounded by totally supportive people I never experienced any time in my life......they acted supportive but were so dysfunctional they themselves had no clue how to truly be supportive.

I am constantly amazed at what a miracle change happened by just LEAVING where I had lived all my life & going to someplace new to start life all over again.....it was like being able to have a new life, a life I now LOVE.
