paradoxical effect can occur. i was on antipsychotics 14 years ago to treat my ptsd. they only caused a long list of problems, serious problems, too. i was psychotic to begin with, and antipsychotic made me slightly psychotic. only when i got off of them did i realize that it wasn't me, but the medications. sure can get confusing.
