I started seeing my first therapist three years ago, and I'm still with her. She is integrative-relational.
My university assigned me to an "academic mentor" a year ago, and she is an integrative therapist. She is supposed to help me do my coursework, but I am currently so traumatised by the thought of it and so paralysed with fear that I can't cope, so at the moment she is just trying to help me get through that. Once we uncovered how I have been approaching every task for as long as I can remember with self-hatred and self-abuse, and that I was basically destroying myself, we have been focusing on that; she wants to help me become emotionally healthy so I can finish my degree without killing myself in the process. Therefore she functions mostly as a therapist for me right now.
