I can identify with Artchic 528. I had (?) a friend who I've known since we were 17 years old. We talked on the phone a lot then. As the years passed we talked but not so frequent. Then slowly we talked only a few times usually around holidays. I thought we were friends...then the last 2 years she stopped calling and all communications ended. She moved, sent a card but no phone number or address, just a card. I finally called (after searching on Google ) her address of work. She went ballistic that I called. I tried to explain my reason for calling but that wasn't good enough. I've emailed over 2 months ago and still no response. I have to move on...it hurts too but it's her will. I don't think I can communicate with someone who doesn't want my friendship anymore.
