I'm semi-retired now. I own my own construction business and it's on hold.

Also own a self storage called Storage Depot. Every was great for 16 yrs.
then we had a massive robbery. All the units were broken in to,and lucky for us our own units were mostly effected. Lost motorcycle,jet ski,a zillion dollars worth of tools,antique furniture and more.

I'm also a retired Real Estate Broker. It fit the bipolar as I'd be slightly depressed when sold out and manic when we were opening a new phase to the public. ( I worked developing new housing tracts. And selling them.

Sales is such an up and down business,sometimes I feel like I inherited
Bipolar disorder from my work.

I also ran a luxury lake rental by the week business. Way before the current Airbnb. A bad earthquake damaged the house so badly that not only did I need to quit rental business but still haven't finished all the repairs.

One of the members of my support group works with developmentally disabled people. It's a state or Federal job. She said some people through their benefits get 3 people assigned to them. I think the government either over does it or under. Look at all the homeless persons in wheelchairs. Plus they probably suffer mental illness.

The others in my support group are on SSDI and unemployed. Oh, except one lady that comes sometimes. She's a University Administrator. She's bipolar and has a son with Asbergers Syndrome.
