Thanks everyone. My grief right now is in part for Kyoti (the horse), but it's also about all those other losses. Each new loss seems to rip the scab off the old losses. My family was the definition of dysfunctionally, but I still miss them.
trjtaskmaster, I am acutely aware that some people don't live to my current age. My brother was only 21 when he was killed. My husband was 46 when he was killed. Right now I'm hurting and having trouble seeing that living to this age was a good thing.
