I am sad to hear of this recent development. Give your Dad time to really think the situation through & make sure he gets good medical councelling so that he has all the facts possible to base his decisions on. That is the most important thing is honesty by all the Dr's involved. Family together should sit down with him & go over the options too....talking them through with him.

Sounds like his initial reaction is to just give up......but there isn't enough information to base any decisions on at this point.....he needs to know that too.
