I know what it feels like to be depressed when everything seems like it is perfect. I too have it all, a caring husband, I did have the job I always wanted to do and a nice home and friends ... So why severe depression? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Counsellors are often the worst people for caring for themselves. I'm glad you managed to come here to reach out.
I have found the community here to be completely accepting and non judgmental.

People here have helped me through some very dark times and I hope you get as much encouragement from these lovely people as I have.
