BTW-There is no correlation between the fees a therapist of any kind charges and the outcomes the therapy produces. Just because a therapist charges $200/hr, don't assume that the therapy will be helpful. There may be other options in your area and it might pay to shop around a bit. I've had my best therapy with a psychology resident who was working towards his doctoral degree and good couples therapy with a couples therapist who had a Master's in divinity and whose fee was much more affordable than other local Ts.
