Raspberry-have you talked to your gyn about this? I had a polyp that was causing a lot of pain every month. She was sure I had ovarian cysts too but couldn't find them. However when I had a hysterectomy (this was because of other issues) about a year later it turned out that I had deformed fallopian tubes and that was causing problems through the cycle since the eggs would get stuck in the tubes.

Those aren't why i had the hysterectomy; I had severe bleeding after entering menopause and so I had it removed and they found the issues. But the hysterectomy was awesome. Until now when I have to wear incontinence pads to sleep because I've almost wet the bed twice and that's a side effect of this stuff. I didn't miss having a pad on........
