Hi Queen, just reading back trying to catch up. So mainly he wants you off vyvanse and stimulants. They're likely causing mood cycling. I mentioned to you before I went off adderall about a year ago, doctors orders. I cried & was scared, I said what about tapering. She said there is no tapering with stimulants. So that would measure up with what your doc is doing. I was very tired and it took about a week where I stayed in bed. Once off it, I found my attention and focus had improved during my time on it. I'd somewhat retrained my brain. But it felt like a loss and I grieved it. I felt like she was taking away my only means to keep a job or even get up I'm the morning. But it's really for the best. You're going to feel so much better on other meds.
Hope you can talk to a lawyer. Does the job think you're using illicit or street drugs? Would they have a way to prove that? To me it sounds like you were fired without cause or proper counseling. If you had a contract with them, read that. How long were you there? Did they require you to state upfront anything about your mental health or prescription drugs?
I'm not sure about unemployment vs temp disability, you may be eligible for either. Is there any way to not for lose the house?
