Ambien is a hypnotic. I tried it, but makes me go in eating binges.
I agree the tazodone is like being hit with a baseball bat, but does not put me to sleep.

Yep, xanax is a benzo. Can't get it anymore.
I'm trying to get Klonopin (another benzo) from this doc, but I don't know
how the transition from the xanax is going to be.
If push comes to shove, I'll ask for the Vistaril. Thanks for the tip.
