Hello clover1011: You're not too young! But you may want to be a bit cautious about who you come out to. As you learned, as a result of the incident with Brianna, you just never know what a person's reaction is going to be. Just when you think you know someone, suddenly you may realize that you didn't really know them at all. Besides, is it really important that all of your family members & friends know about your sexual orientation?

My personal opinion is that it isn't. My thought would be that it might be best to just not bring it up unless and / or until there is a need to. Over time, those around you will begin to see. And, when you feel there is a real need for one or more of them to be told, you can do so. But, my thought would be that to go out & intentionally come out to all of your family members & friends, just to do it, is probably just asking for trouble, as the saying goes. At least these are my thoughts. Good luck!
