Thank you everyone for your comments. Finding this site has truly been a blessing. I think I'm going to ask my current pdoc to just prescribe me Loxitane and Celexa (my old combo), and then leave him officially. Hopefully he complies. I spoke with the receptionist at the other psychiatrists office where there is the wait list. She promised she would speak with the doctor and try to get me in sooner. I don't want to have to be on meds, but if I have to I want the meds that I feel comfortable with. Unless the doctor gives me a good reason for not being on those particular meds.
