I'm not trying to be a med pusher by any means but if you feel yourself slipping... well you gotta worry about your health first ..cus if Mama ain't healthy....ain't no one healthy. also if your worried about the agitation, most study now show that statistically after the first trimester benzos have not shown really much if any higher risk of deformity than non benzo pregnancies... If not weened off before delivery than yes your baby will go through withdrawals but almost all subside with in a couple of weeks to a month and no difference in hitting milestones by age 5. Sorry sometimes my brain goes on info auto drive. I need to sleep. Snow queen is getting *****y sorry. Only you know what's best for your body your brain and your baby. Just trust your gut. And if you do find you need meds don't beat yourself up.
Thanks for your response, it's actually really comforting. It's hard to not feel guilty about taking meds and being pregnant. And then not being able to breastfeed. My worst nightmare is postpartum psychosis. Before I was on meds I felt myself slipping in and out of reality. I don't want to hurt myself or my kids, so obviously I have to be medicated. I like that Latuda is category B too so I really want it to work for me.
