Not being listened to and being misunderstood is very hurtful and damaging. I hope you can shake it off, drawing strength from knowing you are listened to, understood and highly valued here.

A little worrying about your paw! Do take care of it, or pop to Minor Injuries if it doesn't clear up. At least there the Nurses are usually caring and competent.
