Just a quick reply, you may have an underactive thyroid, I kept blaming my meds in the past, then my thyroid though tests always came back "within normal limits", pissed me off cause I knew for years which may be "normal" for some is not for everyone, sure enough it finally dropped down to showing up as underactive, doc gave me Synthroid and things cleared up, even mood improved slightly.
As we get older, especially women, our thyroids/metabolism slows down, some suffering from the fatigue, hair thinning, weight problem, skin, etc. so it is a good idea to have a thyroid function workup included in future blood tests, T3,T4 and TSH, should all be done, not just one of them.
Whew! and I said this was going to be a quick reply, ha!ha!
Take care,
DE
