That's how I lost my job. I went on short term disability and when I came back there was no jo for me to come back to. Since I was working over a year I deserved severance pay they wanted to not pay. Luckily I caught my boss saying I was fired (those words specifically) and got the labor board involved and suddenly I got my severance.

Keep trying, because even baby steps are still progress.
I don't have to survive this week,
the next few days, or even tomorrow.
But if I can get through this moment,
and the next, I will try to make it 'till tonight.
