I passed the bar and was sworn in as an attorney on September 25. I'm seriously considering elder law as my practice area. I'm leaning toward opening a solo practice as opposed to trying to get hired on at a law firm. I feel like I'm too old to get hired. Plus I'd like the flexibility so I can care for my mom.

I've moved in with my mom, and it's been difficult. Her dementia is much worse. She's very forgetful, and her judgment is extremely poor.

My animals are all doing well at the moment. I finally figured out how to keep the animal that was preying on my chickens out. I've been holding steady at 32 chickens for the last couple of months. And they're starting to lay again now that the weather's warmed up.
