Docs, Ts, pdocs, meds, distractions, talking about my feelings in different forums and places, with friends, going out, working, reading, watching tv, listening to music, showering, eating junk food, helping out at home, cutting, drinking, taking more pills than i should. nothing works.

Highlighted is dysfunctional behaviors,of course they will not work.
How about meditation, creative journaling, channeling it all into art, psychtrance music (depends on the type, but there are tracks that have beats that do something interesting to my mind), turning to nature, eating healthy, loving yourself, herbal supplements, finding your spirituality, existentialism, buddhism, crystals, bach essences, travelling, forgiving yourself, volunteering, fighting for a cause, going to where you can see the stars, looking for good omens, cuddling a cat and looking in her eyes....
These are just some of the things that work for me...
Get the emergency help you need now and then when your immediate episode is over... try different things. Outside of the healthcare system. Things that are not in the tacky "help yourself" paperbacks. Be resourceful.
