He did say ECT didn't help.
And you are lucky it helped you.
I don't know if I'll ever completely recover. I'd rather jump from a plane with no parachute than have ECT again. Or ip.
Somethings that may help. Support group. Safety in numbers.
Move to a new house. Or different surroundings.
