I have found that using the phone, social media, stores, errands helps me stay connected and open dialogue for further contact with others. We often have to push through our fears for an invitation to do stuff with others. You can join a group: book club at the library, bird watching, hiking club, walking club, etc. Often in the community paper they have stuff that others can join to interact and build healthy relationships with others.
